“Exploring the World of Postal Services: Educational Visit to Anekal Post Office – Class 1, 11.07.2024”
On 11th July 2024, our Class 1 students had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Anekal Post Office as part of their educational outing. This exciting trip allowed the children to learn about the vital role of the postal system and how it helps connect people all over the world.
During the visit, the students were introduced to various postal services, including how letters and packages are sorted, sent, and delivered. They were fascinated by the process and even had the chance to observe the different types of mail being processed. The staff at the post office shared valuable insights, explaining how stamps work, the importance of addresses, and the history of postal services.
The children also had a hands-on experience by writing postcards to their families, which they eagerly dropped into the mailboxes. This experience not only helped them understand how communication works but also highlighted the importance of being responsible with letters and parcels.
It was a day filled with learning and excitement, and the children returned with greater curiosity about the world around them. A big thank you to the Anekal Post Office staff for making this visit so informative and enjoyable!
